Celebrating the Past...Building the Future
Peace and Blessings for this New Year!
This is an exciting time in the life of Covenant Presbyterian Wendell! The new year is a great time to reflect on the past and plan for the future. During Heritage Weekend, February 24 and 25, we will be re-telling the stories that have shaped this congregation and celebrating God's blessings over the past six decades. In the months to come, we will be envisioning the future--with intention. Sharing our hopes and dreams for the ministry of this church as we head into the future. The Mission Study Team will guide us on this journey. Mark your calendars for February 24 and 25 as we accept this challenge!
Also coming in February -- Ash Wednesday is February 14. Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent, a preparation for the celebration of Easter. It is a period of reflection and confession, study and a renewal of faith. We will gather for worship at 5:30 begin the Lenten journey.
